What I like
about my job
:
Every day poses new challenges with news or sports stories that may be breaking, severe weather that may be coming, etc.  No two days are exactly alike, and presenting the information, trying to make sense of it and conversing with our listeners makes each day exciting.

Hobbies, interests: Love to play golf, work in my yard and take quick weekend camping trips.  After years of chasing the kids at camps and tournaments, I actually get to do some of these things again!

Favorite movies: I tend to judge a movie by how hard it is to avoid if you see it while flipping through the channels. Movies like The Sting, Young Frankenstein, Casablanca, Saving Private Ryan, Bridge over the River Kwai, Bull Durham, etc…

Favorite books: Taste runs from Tom Clancy to Clive Cussler, Dan Brown to Ken Follett.

Favorite recording artists: Depending on the mood, I could start with Earth, Wind & Fire, move to the Cars or Aerosmith, slide over to Luther Vandross and finish with George Strait.  Go figure!

Anything else we should know?: With over 20 years in this business, I’ve seen a lot of good and lot of bad.  I remain positive that despite what we see and hear in our world every day, our system is still the best and I feel fortunate that I’m waking up in this country.
