The Legislature’s budget committee is done with its work on the proposed budget from Governor Evers.
GOP members are adding an income tax cut worth about $320 million.
The average taxpayer would save $75 this year, and $77 next year.
Republicans scrapped an Evers proposal to cut income taxes by $833 million. They also dumped his plan to ban businesses from using state tax credits, grants, and loans to cut jobs in Wisconsin, or move jobs out of the state.
The budget now goes to the Assembly and Senate.
