President Trump is among the people blaming China for the pandemic, and Governor Evers says the state and country have seen a recent spike in hateful actions and language directed toward Asian-Americans.
He says “no one is at fault for this virus.” He’s calling on people to come together, and bond on the common goal of safety, health, and recovery. He’s urging them to reject hateful actions.
Evers says COVID-19 doesn’t discriminate, and it doesn’t give an excuse for people to either.
