There are 943 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
That’s the most in a single day since last Saturday.
The state is reporting 7.6 percent of tests came back positive, and that’s up from 4.8 percent yesterday. The seven-day average rose to 6.9 percent.
There have now been 63,206 confirmed cases overall. There are 8,931 active cases, and that’s 47 more.
Hospitals are treating 364 COVID-19 patients, and another 221 are waiting for test results.
Seven more people have died, bringing the total of confirmed deaths to 1,018.
Brown County has 39 new cases, Winnebago 19, Outagamie 16, Calumet 15, Waupaca 14, and Fond du Lac 12.
Oconto added nine, Manitowoc seven, and Green Lake three. Shawano and Waushara each have two more.
