The community will get a chance to welcome home the veterans from the Old Glory Honor Flight to Vietnam tomorrow.
There’s a celebration at Menasha High School.
Board member Steve Trinkner says it’s a chance to right history’s wrong and give them a proper homecoming.
The doors open at the high school’s fieldhouse at 5 p.m.
Trinkner says the veterans will go through a receiving line and they’ll be greeted by other vets first. He says a Medal of Honor recipient will speak, and stories will be shared.
Trinkner says they’ll have overflow parking at Calder Stadium and shuttles to and from the high school.
