Since its inception, this event has helped over 35 indivudals and families that have suffered a medical condition.  After 12 years of serving the community through the Larry Wolfinger Charity Golf Outing, a continuing need to help more families was recognized, and thus, the Community Benefit Tree was planted. Community Benefit Tree a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that is governed with fundamental Christian values. Its mission is to celebrate people’s lives and support during their medical crisis. Community Benefit Tree assists families, friends, as well as co-workers in planning a Celebration of Support event, in honor of their loved one. These one day events helps the families financially with both living and medical expenses while offering strength, hope and joy from those attending. Additionally, Community Benefit Tree provides education, support, resources and financial assistance for families struggling with a medical crisis.
