Wheel Fever Book Launch & Bicycle Tour

Event Times: 5:30 pm

Join Chief Curator Nick Hoffman and UW-Madison PhD candidate Jesse Gant as they release their new book, Wheel Fever: How Wisconsin Became a Great Cycling State.

At 5:30 pm, join Hoffman and Gant for a presentation followed by a book signing. The presentation is free and open to the public. At 6:30 pm, after the talk, the authors will lead a tour by bicycle of Appleton's cycling scene during the mid to late 1800s. The ride is $5.00 / person; $3.50 for OCHS members.

Participants are encouraged to bicycle to the event. Additional bicycle parking will be available on the museum's front lawn. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
