Lawrence University International Studies Lecture: Alexander Betts, “Humanitarian Innovation: Refugees, Technology and the Private Sector”

Alexander Betts, a lecturer in refugee studies and forced migration at Oxford University, opens Lawrence’s 2013-14 Povolny Lecture Series.

Betts will discuss his research on refugee livelihoods with the Humanitarian Innovation Project. The theme for this year’s series is “Social Entrepreneurship, Human Rights and Sustainable Development.”

Free and open to the public.
