Restaurants and Packers

Thursday, Aug, 20 2015

Thanks to Samantha Dennis and Adrienne Palm from the Chamber and Larry from Basil Cafe for joining us this morning, debuting info on Fox Cities Restaurant Week, August 27-September 3. Should be tasty!

Listen today for the Green Bay Packers plans for a plaza along Lombardi, after purchasing and razing many buildings along that avenue. Press conference at 11:45, we'll tweet some of the details right away, with more in WHBY News throughout the day.

PGA underway

Thursday, Aug, 13 2015

Listen for updates all weekend from the PGA Championship, just down the road at Whistling Straits.
I made my prediction as I'm going with Louis Oosthuizen, who has played well in the last two majors. Nearly cam back to win the US Open after having an awful first day at Chambers Bay.

Also--due to Packers football pre-game beginning today at 4, we are shifting Brewers baseball with the Cubs to The Score, AM 1570 and 95.3 FM. 1:20 first pitch...

Cory Chisel

Thursday, Aug, 6 2015

Cory Chisel joined me this morning on WHBY to preview Mile of Music 3...mentioned he will perform an un-announced "pop up" show today at Houdini Plaza---no specifics on time, just keep an eye out for it!

Catch some great acts on Friday and Saturday at WHBY's stage at the Radisson courtyard.  Two shows Friday afternoon and whole bunch of them all day on Saturday....

Enjoy the weekend--looks like Friday afternoon holds some rain, but most of the rest of the weekend looks great!

Wednesday's show

Tuesday, Aug, 4 2015

Mile of Music starts Thursday, but we lean towards Wednesday night as WHBY joins the Mile of Music crew for the Courtyard Concert series at the Radisson---from 5-7pm, it's Swear and Shake, a great band out of Brooklyn and Nashville!  Get there early for the best seats...

Hope to have Cory Chisel join us before Thursday's start to Mile 3, and I have a few Brewers tix to weekend games against the Cards---be listening!
