Little Chute woman should get the maximum
STOP IT!I have little to no sympathy for people who are foolish enough to text while driving.
A young woman from Little Chute's life will never be the same.
A cyclist is dead.
I hope that was a real important message she was reading when she hit and killed him this past summer.
Now she's facing what could be a maximum of 10 years in prison.
Like I said, I hope that text message was worth it.
As a cyclist who rides a road bike for a few thousand miles a season out there on the streets I know it can be a dangerous sport. But my life shouldn't be in the hands of someone who isn't paying attention to driving a few thousand pounds of steel down the road because he or she is more focused on some silly messaging going on at the time.
Stop it.
Stop it now.
