Battered Brewers knock off Pirates 5-2
Marco Estrada struggled but was able to strike out 8 in 6 innings pitched and Jonathan Lucroy had the key hit of the game with a 2 run single as the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-2 Tuesday night at Miller Park. Estrada pitched six innings and with the win improved to 3-1 on the season. Carlos Gomez left the game with lower back tightness and Ryan Braun only played 6 innings as he returned from the disabled list. Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 16th save of the season with a perfect 9th inning. With the win, the Brewers are now 25-14 on the season.
