Packers sign 7th rounder, cut Nixon

The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms with their first of their nine draft picks.

Seventh round selection Jeff Janis out of Saginaw Valley State signed his rookie deal Wednesday.  Janis was one of three receivers picked by General Manager Ted Thompson in this year's draft.

Also, the Packers added their 13th undrafted Free Agent.  Tackle John Fullington out of Washington State was added Wednesday.

The team also announced the release of cornerback James Nixon.  Nixon played in three games in 2013.
