Braun Powers Brewers Past Reds

Ryan Braun's 2-run 8th inning home run broke a 2-2 tie and Milwaukee held on to beat Cincinnati 4-2 Saturday night.  The Brewers took a 2-1 lead in the 7th on a pinch-hit RBI single by Rickie Weeks, however the Reds answered back with a run on a Billy Hamilton homer in the top of the 8th off Brewers reliever Will Smith.  Milwaukee starter Yovani Gallardo went seven innings giving up one run on six hits while striking out eight and walking two on his way to a no decision.  Francisco Rodriguez pitched a perfect 9th to pick up his 21st save of the year.  The Brewers and Reds are back at it tomorrow afternoon with first pitch set for 1:10 p.m. pre-game starts at 12:35 p.m.
