Brewers Bats Silenced by Cobb! Fall to Rays 5-1

It was a rough night for the Milwaukee Brewers bats as the Brewers struck out 14 times in a 5-1 loss Tuesday night to the Tampa Bay Rays. Alex Cobb pitched 8 strong innings and struck out 12. The Brewers wasted another strong performance from Matt Garza as he left the game after 7 innings allowing only one run. However, with the game tied at 1, Will Smith allowed 4 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning. The Rays remain red hot as they have won 11 of their past 12 games. The Brewers will try to avoid the sweep on Wednesday morning. Yovani Gallardo gets the start for the Brewers.
