Brewers finally lose when leading after 8 innings!
Heading into tonights game against the Angels, the Milwaukee Brewers were 50-0 when they lead after eight innings. This was the best record in all of baseball. However, pinch hitter Hank Conger dealt Brewers closer Jim Henderson and the Brewers a heart breaking 6-5 loss when Conger hit a 2 out 2 run Home Run in the top of the 9th. Henderson retired the first 2 Angles in order before pinch hitter Josh Hamilton doubled setting up Conger's heroics. Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy had a big night at the plate driving in four Brewers runs. Brewers will look to avoid getting swept tomorrow afternoon. You can hear the game on News Talk 1150-WHBY with the pre-game show at 12:35pm and first pitch from Miller Park is at 1:10pm.
