Van Hollen will continue anti-heroin push

The state's "top cop" believes an effort that targets the growing heroin epidemic is helping.

Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen says they launched the "Fly Effect" campaign earlier this year, to make sure parents and teens know about the dangers of heroin abuse.

Van Hollen believes the state needs to find programs that would help fight heroin addictions, and provide funding for them. He says they also have to keep people from being exposed to the drug in the first place.
