Northwestern Shocks the Badgers in Madison
Drew Crawford scored 30 points as the Northwestern Wildcats upset the 14th ranked Wisconsin Badgers Wednesday night in Madison 65-56. The Badgers hit their first two shots of the night, both three pointers to take a 6-0 lead but it was all down hill after that shooting the basketball. Wisconsin was as cold as the weather as they shot 26% from the field and they went 5-24 from three point land. Wisconsin starters all struggled shooting the ball. Traevon Jackson was 2-12, Sam Dekker 2-9, Frank Kaminsky was 3-9 and Josh Gasser was 0-4. Ben Brust lead the Badgers with 21 points on 7-18 from the field. Wisconsin will try to bounce back on Saturday when they host the Ohio State Buckeyes. News Talk 150-WHBY will have the pre game show at 10:00am and tip off at 11:00am.
