Girl gets bears for grieving siblings

Losing a newborn brother or sister can be very tough for a child, and a nine-year-old Appleton girl is trying to help them.

ThedaCare social worker Joan Gruenstern Heller says Tatiana Quezada felt devastated when she lost her brother, Joshua, last November, and had to leave the hospital without him. She says Quezada raised enough money to buy 40 teddy bears for kids who lose a newborn sibling, while they're still at the hospital.

Gruenstern Heller says Tatiana raised the money by selling candy canes at school. She plans to continue the effort when the teddy bear supply runs low.
