Langenfeld won't go to Minn. district

Green Bay's school superintendent won't be taking a job in the Twin Cities area.

Michelle Langenfeld was one of the finalists to become the leader of the Anoka-Hennepin district, in Minnesota. The school board there wants to hire the assistant superintendent from a nearby district.

Brenda Warren is the president of the Green Bay school board, and she says they're pleased with the job Langenfeld is doing.

Langenfeld has been in Green Bay for three years, and the two previous superintendents were also around for about three years. Warren says while the district has a lot of really good employees, it's always good to have stability in that position.
