Walker pledges lower property taxes

Governor Walker says property taxpayers won't see higher bills, through 2018, if he's elected to a second term.

The governor isn't giving specifics on how he'll fulfill that promise, but he says it will involve a mixture of spending restraints on local governments, and aid from the state. Walker says under his plan, property taxes on an average home in 2018, will be one dollar less than they are now.

Walker is up for re-election in November. His main Democratic challenger is former Trek Bicycle executive Mary Burke.
