An Appleton hospital is among nine in the country recognized by the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, for getting high blood pressure cases under control.

The CDC reports that Appleton Medical Center's hypertension control rate is over 85 percent. ThedaCare physicians senior medical director Mark Hallett says the organization puts an emphasis on helping people lower their blood pressure.
