FdL puppies to get new homes soon

The Fond du Lac Humane Society is going to find new homes this week for two puppies that were doused with bleach.

Manager Renee Webb says it will be an emotional time for staff when Tina and Turner leave.

An eight-year-old Fond du Lac boy tossed bleach on Turner, and spilled some on Tina. He then put Turner in a garbage bag, and left him in a dumpster.

Webb says Turner will have a higher risk of developing lung diseases, but otherwise, he looks like a healthy puppy.

A third dog, Ike, wasn't hurt, and he was adopted a week ago. Webb says dozens of families wanted to adopt one of the three puppies.
