Ribble: Tough decisions loom on highway funding

Transportation funding is a major problem at the state and federal levels, and a congressman from northeast Wisconsin says lawmakers need to tackle the issue soon.

Congressman Reid Ribble says the federal transportation trust fund could run dry up this summer, and state officials are trying to find ways to make up for shrinking gas tax revenues. The Sherwood Republican says politicians are hesitant to do what's needed to solve the problem.

Ribble says officials are talking about raising the gas tax, adding tolls, and cutting postal delivery to five days to help solve the problem.
