Outagamie Co. attorney explains marriage decision

Same-sex couples had to wait a little while, for Outagamie County to start accepting marriage license applications this morning.

County corporation counsel Joe Guidote says he needed time to review the federal judge's decision, and he determined that the clerk needed to accept them.

County Executive Tom Nelson says they're prepared, if the clerk's office needs any help. Nelson says he's pleased to see same-sex couples filing their marriage license applications.
