The Milwaukee Brewers were defeated by the Cincinnati Reds 6-5 at Miller Park on Friday night.  Jonathan Lucroy and Scooter Gennett each battled for two hits and an RBI.  Starting pitcher Matt Garza (4-4) pitched seven innings, one strikeout, allowed 7 runs with one earned and got a no-decision. Relief pitcher Francisco Rodriguez (2-2) allowed the winning run in the ninth and took the lost.  The Brewers dropped to 40-28 and will play game two of the three game series at Milwaukee on Saturday night.  You can hear that game on 1150-WHBY with pre-game at 5:40pm and first-pitch at 6:15pm.
