Catalpa drastically reduces therapy wait times

An 18-month-old mental health organization is drastically reducing wait times for children and teens to see a therapist.

Catulpa Health CEO Lisa Kogan-Praska says a grant from U.S. Venture's Basic Needs Giving Partnership helped them add two therapists, and evaluate their services.

Kogan-Praska says Catalpa is opening a new location in Oshkosh in two weeks, and that will provide even more access to mental health care in northeast Wisconsin.

U.S. Venture gave the provider a three-year, $300,000 grant. The company announced $2.8 million in grants yesterday, through the Basic Needs Giving Partnership.
