Marshals catch Philadelphia suspect in Appleton

The suspect in a sexual assault case in Philadelphia was arrested in Appleton.

U.S. Marshals office caught Michael Young in the 200 block of S. Summit Street on Tuesday.

They say he saw a woman walking along a sidewalk in Philadelphia, in November of 2012. They say he convinced her to go into a vacant lot, so he could use her phone to call for a ride. Marshals say he had a gun and a knife, when he assaulted her.

California authorities recently told Philadelphia police that Young's DNA matched evidence in the case. Marshals learned that Young was living in Appleton.
