Watchdog reacts to Walker documents

Prosecutors in a John Doe investigation accuse Governor Walker of being in the middle of a "criminal scheme" to illegally coordinate with conservative groups, during a recall campaign.

A federal appeals court released the documents yesterday, and some show apparent coordination between Governor Walker, his campaign, and third-party conservative groups.

Jay Heck of government watchdog group Common Cause calls the documents a game-changer. He says Wisconsin law is pretty clear that coordination between a campaign and outside groups is illegal.

A federal judge ordered prosecutors to stop their investigation, and they're appealing that ruling. Heck says where the case goes from here, remains in the hands of the appeals court.

Heck says at a minimum, Walker has some explaining to do.
