Flyover ramps opening at Hwys. 41 & 29

A five-year construction project near Green Bay will come to an end tomorrow morning.

The DOT will open flyover ramps between Highways 41 and 29. The agency held a ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday on one of the ramps.

Spokesman Mark Kantola says the new system is safer, and drivers will find that it's more convenient.

The DOT is now building roundabouts on Packerland Drive and Shawano Avenue for cars that get off the two highways. He says that will also ease congestion in that area.
