Pedal pubs not an issue in L.C., Menasha yet

Neenah is joining Appleton in banning alcohol on pedal pubs, but some other communities are taking a wait-and-see approach.

Menasha and Little Chute leaders say they haven't heard from anyone interested in starting a business with the 14- to 16-person quadricycles.

Little Chute administrator James Fenlon says if a request came in, they would address it.

There are pedal pub companies in Milwaukee and Madison. Groups rent them, and they typically ride on streets, between bars.

Governor Walker signed a bill earlier this year, allowing people to drink while they're on a pedal pub. The law does give communities the chance to set their own rules for alcohol.
