Oshkosh man killed in plane crash

A 57-year-old Oshkosh man was the victim of last night's deadly ultralight plane crash, in Winnebago County.

Capt. Todd Christie of the sheriff's department says James Sakowski's plane went down in a field, near Broderick and Oakhill roads, in the town of Poygan. He says the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are leading the investigation.

Christie says Sakowski died at the scene. Witnesses reported the crash around 7:15 p.m. yesterday.
