State officially appeals gay marriage ruling

It's official, the state is appealing a federal judge's decision to throw out Wisconsin's constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

Governor Walker and Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen filed paperwork today, with the 7th District Court of Appeals.

Judge Barbara Crabb issued her ruling last month. More than 500 same-sex couples got married, before Crabb put her decision on hold, one week later.
