Appleton holding annual Children's Parade

The Building for Kids Children's Museum is holding its annual children's parade this evening, in downtown Appleton.

Carey Behnke is one of the organizers. She says about 1,800 people already registered to participate. The parade will start at Houdini Plaza, and follow College Avenue and Drew Street, to City Park.

Behnke says the parade gets underway at 5:15 p.m., and there will be a lot of things for kids to do, at the park, until 8 p.m.

Behnke says it's a fun event for kids because they get to dress up, and be the center of attention. She says people who didn't register can still walk in the parade.
