Appleton police showing off museum

The history of Appleton's police department will be on display for the public tomorrow morning.

The department is giving people a rare opportunity to see its museum.

Retired Sgt. Arnie Nettekoven says they'll show off some of their police memorabilia and antique equipment.

The department also has a large collection of police badges and patches from other communities. Nettekoven says he traded for them over the years.

The museum is in the downstairs of the police station, and it will be open from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow.
