Menasha reschedules fireworks

Menasha leaders postponed the city's fireworks over the Fourth of July, and they're going to hold the show next month, during Seafood Fest.

Mayor Don Merkes says the city council decided to move the fireworks to Saturday, September 6, at Jefferson Park. He says they're going to fire them from two pontoons, on the water.

In the past, the city fired them from shore. The city put the show on hold, about a month ago, because of windy conditions on two straight nights.
