Voter turnout could be light in Neenah

There are a couple of big races on the primary ballot for voters in Neenah tomorrow, but city's clerk doesn't think many people will bother to cast a ballot.

Clerk Patty Sturn says judging by demand for absentee ballots, she thinks the total turnout will be under 20 percent. She says she expected more than that, with the sixth congressional district and the Assembly's 55th district seats up for grabs.

Congressman Tom Petri represented the sixth district for more than three decades. Neenah Mayor Dean Kaufert spent more than 20 years in the Assembly.
