Hortonville schools save $77K on energy bill

The Hortonville school district managed to cut energy bills by 10 percent last school year, despite the frigid winter.

Tim Diestler is the district's building and grounds director. He says they installed energy-efficient light bulbs, and they did a better job of turning down the thermostat, when rooms weren't being used.

The $77,000 figure is from June of last year, to May of this year.
