Wickman sentenced for G.B. murder

A frequent prison inmate will spend another 36 years behind bars for killing a man in Green Bay.

Fifty-year-old Jeffrey Wickman was convicted of felony murder, after pleading no contest two months ago, in Brown County court.

Prosecutors say he stole several guns from 49-year-old Daniel Kuehl and strangled him, in May of last year. Kuehl was found dead in his apartment, in the 200 block of N. Ashland Avenue, two days later.

Nine years earlier, Kuehl gave Wickman a place to stay, but Wickman was arrested for stealing one of Kuehl's guns.

Wickman was also sentenced to 14 years of extended supervision, if he's released from prison.
