Menasha Lock reopens

After more than six weeks, the Menasha Lock on the Fox River is open again.

The Fox River Navigational System Authority started letting boaters through it, last Friday.

Chief Operating Officer Bob Stark says they're still making some final adjustments, but they don't expect to do any more major work on the lock.

The lock closed around the Fourth of July weekend, after a hinge pin broke for the second time. The lock will be open through October 5.
