Judge says John Doe probe ongoing
The John Doe investigation into the Milwaukee County executive's office, when Governor Walker was in charge, is still open.
That's according to the judge who is overseeing the probe.
The governor said yesterday he hoped the investigation would end as early as this week. Retired Waukesha County Judge Neal Nettesheim says "that would be pure conjecture."
Six former aides or associates of Walker were charged. Milwaukee County prosecutors accused most of them of doing campaign work, on county time.
