Tourism industry collecting winter clothes
Tourism leaders in Wisconsin and Michigan battled over mittens last year, and this year, Badger State officials are trying to collect winter clothing.
Pam Seidl of the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau says they're asking people to bring in new or gently used items.
People can drop off items through January 4, at the Fox Cities Visitor Center on W. College Avenue. The donations will go to the Fox Valley Warming Shelter.
The Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce and the Calumet County courthouse are also collecting winter clothes.
