Ryan decompressing after V.P. bid
He's had almost a month to decompress after his run for vice president, and Congressman Paul Ryan says the three months on the national campaign trail were a "meat grinder."
The Janesville Republican says he was under constant scrutiny by the media and his opponents. He says both parties take things a candidate says and tries to distort them, so he had to make sure he was speaking clearly.
Ryan says he's now turning his attention to the "fiscal cliff" negotiations. He says the country can't tax itself out of its debt problem.
