Plow crews shaking rust off with first storm
Street crews across northeast Wisconsin knocked the rust off their plows yesterday, when the first shovelable snow fell on the area since last winter.
Outagamie County highway commissioner Al Geurts says it was nice for the plow drivers to get back into their plowing routine with a three inch storm, instead of getting hit by a blizzard. He says he didn't hear of any complaints from the plow drivers, but other drivers need to get re-accustomed to seeing plows on the street.
Geurts says plow drivers started plowing and salting the roads yesterday afternoon, and continued through the early morning hours.
