Spark starts small fire at Lambeau Field

A small fire at Lambeau Field yesterday, caused about $5,000 in damage.

Green Bay Metro Fire Department Lieutenant Nick Craig says firefighters were called to the stadium shortly before two.  He says the fire started accidentally when a construction worker was cutting a metal rail, and a spark started some foam insulation on fire.

Craig says it took about 45 minutes to put out the fire, because it was difficult to get water to it.

Craig says more than 30 firefighters responded to the call.
