Seidl new director of Fox Cities Chamber
The long-time spokeswoman for the Fox Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau is now its executive director.
The bureau's board appointed Pam Seidl to the post today.
Seidl says there won't be too much of a learning curve, because she's worked for the organization for the past decade, but the job does have many new responsibilities. Seidl says making the Fox Cities a bigger tourist destination is among her top priorities. She says the area has a lot to offer.
Seidl says the waterfront is an underutilized asset.
Seidl takes over for Randy Prasse who left the bureau in October, after being hired last April. He succeeded former executive director Lynn Peters, who left at the end of 2011.
