FISC recuriting mothers, daughters for program
A local non-profit that helps people manage their money, is looking for mothers and daughters to participate in a money saving program.
Alan Prahl of FISC says the "Her Money" program teaches some valuable skills for saving money. He says they also have a shopping excursion, where they go to a local store, and learn the best ways to find deals.
He says mothers who save at least $200 will get $400 back.
Mothers and daughters from low-to-moderate income families can sign up for the program through the end of January.
