Fox Valley Humane Association hits milestone

For the first time ever, the Fox Valley Humane Association found homes for 100 percent of their adoptable cats last year.

Executive director Deb Lewis says 2012 was also the eighth year in a row that they were able to get matches for all of their adoptable dogs. She says finding homes for all of the cats is a big accomplishment, because they're a bigger challenge.

Lewis says the humane association has a program that gives older cats to people. They have two veterinarians on staff that spay and neuter cats five days a week.
