Charges filed against massage therapist
The owner of an Appleton massage parlor faces sexual assault charges, after two clients claim that he inappropriately touched them.
41-year old James Storm made an initial appearance in Outagamie County court this week on two charges each of third- and fourth-degree sexual assault.
Court records say the first person to accuse Storm is a 16-year-old girl who was getting massage treatments for a leg injury. She claims that Storm touched her sexually twice, during a massage in April, at Mind, Body, and Spirit on Lawe Street.
The girl told officers that after he touched her, Storm told her to keep what happened between them. Later, the girl called to confront Storm about what happened, while officers listened, and he claimed the touching was an accident.
The other victim says Storm was recommended to her by a friend, and during a massage, he touched her in a sexual way twice. When confronted by the friend, records say Storm claimed that the client came on to him, and touched him first.
Storm will be back in court for a preliminary hearing on January 28. A court commissioner set bond at $10,000.
