Cause of G.C. house fire ruled accidental
A fire at a home in Grand Chute earlier this week caused about $227,000 in damage.
Fire department investigators also determined the cause was accidental.
Firefighters could see smoke billowing in the air, while they were on their way to the house, in the 2900 block of W. Parkridge Avenue, on Monday afternoon.
It started in an attached garage, and spread to a part of the attic of the home. There was smoke damage throughout the house.
Firefighter Jesse Pickett says it will be up to an insurance company to determine if the house is a total loss.
