1157th returning to Oshkosh Friday
About 130 soldiers from an Oshkosh-based Wisconsin National Guard unit are coming home on Friday.
There's going to be a welcome home celebration for the 1157th Transportation Company that afternoon, at one of the hangars at the EAA.
The unit spent almost 10 months in Afghanistan, on convoy missions.
The soldiers returned to the U.S. last week, and they've spent the last several days at Camp Shelby in Mississippi, going through the demobilization process.
